Apparently this year's Treehouse of Horror contains a Jurassic World parody, so I wonder if there will be an event based around that this year? Yeah, it's not encouraging. Jurassic Park and The Three Faces of Eve have nothing to do with horror or Halloween.
Actually, horror is a key component of Jurassic Park/World.
Dramatic tension and suspense doesn't automatically equate to horror. The closest equivocation would be Htichcock's The Birds which is only "horror" in the same way that The Charleston is still a dance but no one does it anymore and no one cares to either.
