Lost 24 donuts
I asked support about the problem and if I could get my donuts back.
Their answer:
"I have checked the issue with the specialist team about the missing donuts .
And they say that currently there have been a few known donut issues with the latest update.
And the issue was reported to the Studio team , the team is working upon this to get it fixed for our players.
Meantime I request you to please have patience and wait for an update from the team as we have received an update from the team on this issue that the issue will be fixed soon .
I wish I could add the donuts from my end for you but as we have been updated by the team so I request you to please wait for the update as I am quite positive the issue will be fixed soon ."
Me:
"Are you sure we'll get our donuts back automatically with the update?"
Them:
"The team will do the best possible for all the players .
And no need to worry in case the issue is not fixed for you please get back to us with the case id XXXXXXX"
Sounds like they were advised not to issue donut refunds until the issue is resolved. I'm not sure if that's suggesting the update will fix the donuts automatically or not. A few years ago a similar issue caused me to lose over a hundred donuts and the update did bring them back (and I hadn't even contacted EA!),.. so.. here's to hoping.
Now not playing until I see an update.
