I just went into edit mode, drag along the items in the area then went to put in storage as a group and it tells you how many items you have. Just don't say yes and store.
That’s brilliant! I’m going to do that to audit designs and maybe target areas that need less items. Thanks for mentioning it!

That looks great. I have walls up and buildings just dropped in, having trouble designing around this without it getting huge. More thought and time needed.
Thank you! I understand your concern for not going Too big. I made a space, but then needed more. It required moving a river back a whole land square! That is a tricky undertaking. It’s easy to unravel a design like an old sweater, suddenly it’s all gone. But “efficiency with style” has become my new undercurrent. ?
I was lucky to be ready to go right away this time! My design came from inspiration that’s attributed to my local “Renaissance Fairgrounds “, which looks much like these buildings; and dirt paths the very same orange tone. That place is so cute. I’m surprised they didn’t give us “crowds” of appropriately dressed people. That would have been fun to make it more “occupied.”
Its location where to squeeze in was also easy this time; it selected itself honestly.
This is because to the upper border across the river is my SF University which I’ve themed with the Harry Potter/Hobbit - parody items. To its left is the Transylvania themed stuff, and to its lower right is the circus freak/alien farm area. So basically all of my “supernatural” weird stuff is concentrated here. This latest event stuff allowed me to give more substance and history to my expanding Humbleton neighborhood. It gave reason to why the circus and Fairgrounds are on this side of town. Or how the row of soo many castles along the riverside started with 2 opposing castles each armed with dragons(!), then progressed up the ridge and into the mountains.
Humbleton is now a large community, like SF Heights or Outlands is. I’d like to do the same with Shelbyville but need restrictions further relaxed. #moreland #lesslimit #tsto4ever ?
Anyway, i had to stock up on MORE long castle walls, as they are 2x wider than most other walls. I’m swapping out as many grey walls (upper left corner of this pic) as possible.
The strip club looks better with these walls that match the building a little closer.
The “Alien Escape” event hall got a big reduction in its perimeter walls, so i added a small maze garden (since i finally got a second one.)
Drastic measures to stay under the max limit!! ??
