EDIT: I misread your post. No I finally bought a whale in my main town. Been saving up for it. I only have 200 donuts in crawl.

Items offered for discount seems to vary from town to town. None of my games have the whale discounted (I own one in my main town). The items discounted in main town are completely different from my other 2 towns.

That explains why I don't see the whale deal.

What does everyone think about the Cecil prizes thing. 20 million for a prize? Plus what 4 more. I'm not sure I want to part with all that cash. I'm assuming the prices go up.

Addicts mentions this may be part of a new daily challenge. I could have sworn I had the ability to switch out a challenge and now I can't.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll wait till more info gets posted. I'm Springfield rich but this plus new land could send me back in time 5 years cash wise.

I am ok with it. It gives me something to spend money on other than KEMs.

Are the Springfield Historical Society and the Curvaceous Cave permanent additions to the store?

That seems unlikely, but the game doesn't list them as "limited time"...

I intentionally left a daily challenge to switch out in hopes I would get crafting supplies. Now nothing.

So much to buy! I just blew through my stash of 700 donuts and still have about 10 things to buy!
