Gambling in mini games is probably the "must" in order to finish everything. I am spending every chip at Moe's, and as you said, Moe is very generous. This morning I crafted Wedding Chapel which is on calendar schedule tomorrow, and probably tomorrow during the day I'll earn Milhouse skin. So it looks I'll be ahead of schedule without speeding, with only Rich Texan as premium which earns event currency (OK, I also have his daughter - not premium but a lot of people doesn't have her as she is hard to obtain)
The problem is to create mathematics out of this, because it is based on probability. It could be possible to create approximation if we could know exact probabilities of games / payouts in Moe's Casino.
So it looks that playing mini games - good. Stockpiling - maybe it will be useful near the end of the act, for now it looks like it's better to spend more and unlock more things as soon as possible.
Same here. I do have all the characters that can work at the casino and I've got 27,100 red chips so far and am now on the way to earning the Millhouse magician skin. I've been using my gold coins at Gaming Moes and got some big payouts which has helped with the red chip total. I'm going to blast my way through the act 1 prizes using the coins and then stockpile them once I've got the last prize ready for act 2. I think that's the best way to go.
I'm playing the middle ground right now, using enough tokens to keep up with the chip count for the prizes. I haven't crafted anything yet either. I'm off work Sat, so I'm just going to wait and watch until then.
