I believe you're allowed to craft more when you go up a level. How are you getting so much materials to craft with??

I've just been getting my materials through normal play. I don't have the 3 premium characters or the building. Just tapping regularly, playing slots and got 20 or 25 coasters from the daily challenge yesterday. I haven't crafted everything available in level 1 yet but have enough material to do so if I wanted.

My current totals look like this:
38000 red chips
40 coins
900 PC points (bought the Welcome Sign)

Materials:
38 purple loser chips
30 key rings
53 coasters

Crafted:
Stars 4/4
Cycling lights 2/2
F plant 0/2
Constant fountain 0/2
Sequence Fountain 0/2

My chip total seems to be in the middle of the pack when compared with my neighbors. What's your totals like?
