Tips for an increased multiplier.

Made a run last night. Down by 300 donuts, upped multiplier by 30% + 7-8 lard lads. Only on mystery boxes. (300 donuts down but more than 100 boxes from those 10 and 30 donut prices). Seems better than bike. But the sample size may still be too small to be representative.

Don't worry, everybody else only bought only 1 too, so you didn't miss out on Fight Club specials.

As much as I hate them - build Springfield Heights buildings. Don't worry about upgrading them, just build them. Outside of spending literal boatloads of donuts on multiplier items, the heights buildings will be the quickest way for a lower level player to boost their xp multipliers.
