Tips for Tapping friends' Sprinfields

You'll do a lot better picking one springfield at level 25 with 5 stars. I spend 20 minutes going in and out of a friend's springfield and then start collecting $1,000 per tap. XP points don't mean much at higher levels.
  • You do not need to tap the money to collect it either, just tap tree house and when your done, leve the cash there and get back to friends city selection, even if you didnt tapped the money to get it and even if you dont see the congrats notification and back back in 24h. it stills collects it automatically when you leave the your friends city saving you a couple of minutes at the end.....so..tap 3 hourse, tap milhouse and bart icon as soon as all the money popped and there you go to your next neighbours...

You might do a lot better, but that poor 5 star Springfield friend will be rendered will be a crashy mess for 20 minutes with all that traffic you are subjecting them to.

I decided to conduct a test since there is no proof of this. Someone on my friend's list is an actually friend. She came over last night and I had her go in and out of my town for 20 minutes. She was using her Iphone and I was on my Ipad2. While she was busy doing her thing, I was re-building my town. I put things in storage, took things out of storage, assigned tasks, collected money, moved things around, bought items, and not once did either of us crash. The only lag I ever get is if I tap on too many $ signs, but once the money collects I'm back at normal speed. This was just one test, but I don't believe it causes crashes. Actually, she did crash once. It was late and freezing out, so she stayed the night. :D
  • I only did the friend glitch twice to get some land. No need to do it as I make like 50,000+ a day through normal play. Plus it sorta takes the fun out the game for me. As in life reward should reflect effort.

I have been saying it over and over. Others have said it as well (can't remember who). We've all said that we feel that this is causing crashing. Others have said it because as soon as you go back to your town? You see handshakes indicating people have been there.

I dunno - I have 99 friends - mainly a hold over from the Christmas coin fever. And in the hight of Christmas coin gathering when I knew there were a large number of people visiting routinely (hands would show up in real time!) I didn't have crashing issues - and I have a fair amount of decorations and at the time over half the land. I'm pretty sure game content that get's cached locally on the devices gets corrupted or partially corrupted - cleaning it completely out seems to have worked for me. I detailed the steps I took here: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/9254349.page#26847417

I had a reason to blanky my iPad (Apple was replacing it!) - if you don't have a reason it can be a bit of a hassle and a little time consuming to do the factory reset/restore thing - but maybe worth it for a bit of sanity depending on how addicted you are to the game 8)

The same thing happened on my iPhone - crashing like crazy, I couldn't even collect from my own town. Then I updated the iOS (which meant complete deete/restore) and wasn't crashing at all - I think a lot of the crashing is caused by corrupted cached data. Mine crashes occasionally when I am visiting friends, but usually it's when I'm on an iffy connection.
