Strictly my opinion, but the price is amazing to me. Otto has outdoor tasks I love (sleeps on top of the bus x 12 hours, works underneath the bus with legs/knees showing x 1 hour, and my favorite "jam on the guitar" for 4 hours.). Also, he just looks cool wandering around Springfield because of his bright colors. And all his tasks pay out premium rates. To be honest, he's one of my favorite characters in my whole town. (And I am renowned for my honesty.). (Couldn't resist, folks) 70 donuts sounds like a really good deal!

Good thing is I have 4 days to decide on it.

As a rule I have put off buying any premium characters until I finish the freemium quests and get all of those characters and buildings. However, I am not averse to spending donuts on limited time characters that I really like.I couldn't, however, pass up this deal on Otto. Since he is on my short list of characters to get anyway once I reach L 43 (or whatever the top level will be by then) I figured I could not go wrong saving myself 50+ donuts by getting him now.

I'm freemium but had some donuts to spare so I got him. Couldn't resist ol' Gil. Hope I have enough donuts left over if there's something really sweet in the next update.

Highly doubtful! :P If it a big update lands 133 donuts wont be no where near enough other than decorational items, normally when a big update comes out i buy 900donuts each time sometimes i might splash out on the boatload :D

That being said defo get Otto as this deal for him is REALLY good :)

I had saved up my donuts and bought a small pack from Gil a couple weeks ago. Been debating whether to get Luann or Otto with them. Now I can get both! :mrgreen:

Yeah, I think from now on im only buying characters whove already been in a sale. This otto deal coming so soon after I bought him REALLY stings.

What would be nice is if they done a "Barney" deal!!

As i'm sure LOADS of people would get him if he was offered at a lower price or half price :D

I'd pay the 250 donuts to get Barney without the Bowlarama - that is one ugly building :shock:

But I did get Otto - no regrets.

Ah, but you're much more of a completionist than I am. :lol: The only thing I got from the Fourth of July sale was the Nighthawk Diner/Rex Banner, because the building was so cool. Usually if something costs too many donuts, I persuade myself I don't really want it anyway. ;-)

I was saving up donuts and gradually settling on the idea of getting Otto when I hit 120. Instead, I got to buy him right now with donuts to spare. That's pretty cool.

I'm passing on the deal. It's a good discount but I just don't feel excited about it. I'll save my donuts for the something that sparks my interest during the next event.
