To house farm or not to house farm?

Are you a premium player, or are you going it aunaturale? Not judging, there's different approaches to game p,ay depending on if you purchase donuts/premium items or not.

Well premiums items give you a bonus for jobs and collections :-) so they increase the amount you collect

Just items like the police car and burns limo give 2% The ambulance gives 0.5% but they all add up :-)

I'm a little curious. You don't say how long you've been playing or how much land you've managed to accumulate to date.

I've been playing now for almost exactly six months (with no farming) and at present I've got two more plots left to purchase. I have little doubt that I could have reached this same point more quickly if I had farmed, but I'm not really sure how much more quickly.

I haven't spent any money on the game yet, but I'm not wholly against it. There are some premium items I'd love to splurge on. I've been playing since the middle of October. I'm still mad I lost all my Halloween candy just before I got the Burns monster.

You didn't get the Burns Monster? Consider yourself lucky! :wink:

No farming, it's obnoxious to visit friends with farms , it crashes far more often. Be creative ! Some houses are ok but not row upon row....belch

For the longest time I had many duplicate houses but they were all in "housing developments", i.e. roads leading to them, space for yards, decorations, etc. Not what I consider a farm. Still have some of these that fit the decor of my town and IMO look fine. However, with the new donuts for bonus levels I felt someone obligated to get more XP. So I have a blue house farm now. It is a pure farm, all jammed together. Moved it to the far right of the town (and map, last couple plots veritically) so I don't have to look at it much and visitors to my town don't either. I hate it still, though, and am daily tempted to store them :(

you need a lot of money quickly? sorry, but you have to farm. blue house are the best, hands down.

get the money you need and then put the houses back into storage.

if you have many premium items, then you will get there more quickly. i highly recommend getting the broadcast car, because you can do a 4hr task with the same income of the 8hr task on channel 6 studio.

the arztec theater and telescope will also gain higher income for none premium characters like bart, cbg, martin and skinner.
