Why have the developers of this game not fixed the monorail track allocations in this game? Every time I play this weekly event, I get way too many curved-track pieces and never enough straight-track pieces. It's really frustrating because I can't complete my monorail line because of the shortage of straight track. I refuse to go all crazy like some have who closed the gaps with zigzag curve tracks. It just looks stupid. Plus it takes up a lot of extra space. I have over 250 curved pieces in over 200 transition pieces not to mention an abundance of half sections which are useless. This is absurd on so many levels. Why can't they change the allocation of this game so that you get at least a half-dozen straight pieces with week's play? Is this really asking too much?

In all honesty It's been that way since the original monorail event so I can't see it changing anytime soon.

I haven't touched.my rail yard in months, but in the beginning I too suffered through a shortage of straight tracks. This is a long-term project that you'll finish faster than you realize.

I have a small-ish loop for my monorail that I've had basically since the Monorail event. I keep procrastinating on building something bigger. Partially because I had hoped that someday the track ratios would change. But out of curiosity I just peeked at what's in my inventory:225 straight pieces192 curve pieces156 "zigzag" s-curves pieces226 short piecesThat's crazy.

This subject comes up regularly. One idea was to add a new piece: a double long straight piece. Adding that to the mix would really shift the balance. Another idea would be to add a mini game that gave straight pieces as a prize. Or if we could just purchase straight pieces. That would be great. Alas, they seem to be okay with us working our tails off, wasting around 75% of our effort making track that will just sit in inventory. Getting my monorail to circle completely (instead of from on end to the other, back and forth) is a MAJOR project that will run until the end of next summer. Just too much for a casual game.

i checked multiple times and i can say 100% it's random

If you alternate between long and short straight pieces they can be useful. Also recently I have been getting at least 6 long straight pieces. Got 8 this week.

If get more than 4 straight pieces(average of the 16 achievable pieces) you're doing well.

That said I'd be finished my monorail if I could exchange the curved and wavey pieces.

This week I got 20 pieces + 20 doughnuts (i only got the railyard a couple of weeks ago) and of the 20 pieces I received, 3 were regular straight track pieces. It's gonna be a long slog to finish my monorail.

I play since start of the Monorail and I have 327 straight , 265 curves, 219 s-pieces and 287 half's. I think the ratio is fine.

The ratio needs to be something along the lines of

Straight: 40%
Curved: 30%
S: 15%
Half: 15%

Or 40/20/20/20
