I haven't heard but my guess is they will earn cash and XP after the event. An easy way to tell would be if they pay an event currency after they're built. Also the Queen needs to be built before the hut I believe.

Thanks amazonprimechic! I think I'll try for the Queen and the Hut first, since I already have the Pumpkin House from last year. Can anyone tell me what The Grand Pumpkin is like? Any animation or income?
