Would you guys think it's safe to say that EA is catering more towards players with a second Springfield? I play every day, 3 to 4 times a day at least, and got only 5500 probes by this morning. Looking at the number of ray guns I'm going to need, I'm also realizing that it will be impossible without having my own second Springfield. It kind of defeats the purpose is they require everyone to play all the loopholes.
Or just buy donuts, which, eff that. Oh wait, I see what they're doing here.
It's been shown that it is possible without those things, but the numbers are so tight, once you get behind you simply have to use a second Springfield, donuts, the Ray Gun, or cut deals with friends regarding the Grem-Aliens. It sounds like you're friends may not be helping you out much.ZackPCN wrote:
Seeing as my username is ZackPCN, I can only assume I'm number 100 on most of my friends' lists. :(
Remember a couple years ago when there was an update that randomized your friends' towns? Those were my glory days. Now I'm stuck at the end again.
I know exactly what you mean. I have the same problem as my ID starts with a V. So I went into original.com and edited my ID by putting a lowercase a on the front of my ID. Now my name is one of the first three or four names that pop up on everyone's list. It does make a difference.AOFIGO009 wrote:
This is very strange, as I've been putting my second Springfield to use for about the same time. Are you sure you're not tapping the Grem-Aliens in your second Springfield? I wonder if you can figure out how many probes you're getting a day, it might be that you are getting the required numbers, but fell behind before hitting those targets? Once you are behind on this event it's tough to catch-up, there's not much wriggle room.
Well, so far I was only up to 400 ray gun points as of 2 PM. As of midnight, I have managed to squeak out a mere 780. How does that compare to where you are at? That is also including the 8 eggs dropped on my second SF and the measly 3 ammos I used on the flying saucers. I've been working on this game hard since early this morning and I feel like I'm getting nothing out of it. (Sigh!)aValIs4NU wrote:

As of about 8:30am on the morning of 21st October, I have 1108, which will include 200 from felling UFOs in my friends' town, which was rubbish considering I had 20 ammo, and about 120-160 from sending Grem-Aliens into my second Springfield, which is three or four sets of 10 at a time. Everything else I get from squishing aliens in my main Springfield, plus 90 from tapping in friends' Springfields as usual.AOFIGO009 wrote:

It appears that you're getting a lot of ammos. I have never had 20 ammo's. I think the most I have ever had was five. I wonder how is it that you are getting so many? I do have the ray gun and I get two, maybe three, out of it on a daily basis. If you are regularly getting that many ammos every day, then it's no wonder you have such a high score.aValIs4NU wrote:

I rarely had that many, in fact that's the only time. When I was close to finishing the probe gift line, I stopped using ammo to save them until the laser gun gift line began, which meant I had lots to spare, but remember, I still only got 200 from that 20 ammo, and you get 50 a time, which means I only got laser guns 4 times out of 20. In my second Springfield I have about the same amount as you, because I hardly ever squished aliens. Only twice in 24 hours. On my main Springfield I have Kodos read in the library for four hours, then squish everything, send him to read again. In a 12 hour day, that's three times minimum and I choose to do at least one during the night. I think if you could do that it may help.ZackPCN wrote:

I've been playing for a while, so I was able to get the Donut Torture Device a couple of days before the end of the Probes phase without a second Springfield as a completely freemium player (never sent EA a dime, just wasted tons of my time ;) ). But since I've been playing for a couple of years, I think I have all of the kids that can trick-or-treat except Jimbo and Uter, so I get a lot of treat bags. In fact, I purchased Sherri & Terri at the start of THOH soon after I saw how it worked. (I had a lot of donuts saved up since I knew this is usually a big event.)- Wish I had bought hunting license sooner. The donut torture device cost me 240 donuts. $10 but I just couldn't do without it.

Hey.... thanks for sharing your knowledge!! I love this GAME...
No problem!! That's what this forum is here for, we all love the game too!! How are you getting on with this event?- Just read this post (thank you) and you wrote at the beginning " You also can tap up to 3 tap young Rigellian aliens while visiting your friends (you get 2 currencies per tap)"
I've noticed i only get 1 per tap (3 per friend visit) am i the only one? does everyone else get 2 per tap?
No wonder i'm so behind
