TSTO Race to the Finish. The Race is ON! (Wish us luck.)

I wasn't going to buy mystery boxes, but I couldn't help myself once I saw what others were getting. I think I did fairly well.
I got an itchy and scratchy billboard, 2 bomb shelters, 1 minnow ponds, 2 channel 6 news vans, the lemon tree, Kearney, Blue Haired Lawyer, and Squeaky voice teen.

This is definitely an improvement over what was available when most of us started.

Same here. I still want to get money and XP from visiting neighbors as well as my mystery box.

It's random what you see when characters are on indoor tasks, but it is a bit of a shock to see skins that we know nobody has..... And totally weird that witch Lisa pops up so often.

I hadn't seen Witch Lisa until I saw your comment. Now she is in everyone's town.

Same here. I am not sure what the issue is, but it is annoying that I can send to some and others just fail every time.

Are you using different devices? My phone will send requests for both of my towns. My tablet was getting failure messages for my competition town, so I have switched it over to the phone and my main town to my tablet, since I won't be sending requests from there. Now that I have switched them over, I am sure that it will change.

Win or lose, I think this is the coolest aspect of the competition. Unless you started from day 1, your neighbors were probably in very different places than you. It is cool to see different towns in the same place as you are. I don't know if there is a right strategy, but we will see.
