Tunnels not opening?

It's happening to a lot of us- I think that it also causes neighbors to be told your town is full of feds (even when it isn't) so then they can't drop any there. (They can still tap the handshakes though)

Did you go to Krusty Land or your friends page and come back. That usually does it.

I go to a friends page, dump some Feds and return to my SF. I don't have any problem then.

This actually works !

I usually force quit before going into the game in the morning. I have to click the tunnel first, before anything else (even the bell to call in the Elves).

When that happens to me I just turn off my tablet than turn it back on again. I don't know if that's what a "hard close" is, but it works.

Just switching to another program and then going back had always cleared up the problem for me. No need to hard close or reboot.

It depends on your phone/tablet. Some of them (usually the older ones) close apps you're not using right away. Some others will keep them around a lot longer, and you have to explicitly force close them from the applications menu or switcher.
