It depends on how good of a neighbor they've been. I just deleted a neighbor I'd had since Whacking Day, but it took me nearly 3 months before giving up on them. Others I've deleted after a week or two, if they are below Level 40 and not looking like they're progressing.
This is how I tend to do it as well. If I know it's a person who has been frequently active/helpful in the past I'll give them a longer time but if it isn't I usually give them a week or so.
Unfortunately I had a lot of active daily players disappear after the Easter event =\- I like the differentiation between friends and neighbours.
If it is a friend I will wait for weeks, hoping that he/she will be back.
Neighbours are deleted after two weeks of inaction.
But I render towns invisible after a couple of days if they have nothing to tap. As soon as I see the owner's name in my SF, I happily take them back.
And please: send me no more friend requests. Each time I'm posting in a thread like this one, I get dozens of them.
I will only add people I know, so pm me first. airurandopau wrote:
I decided to get more friends to get more FP points so I'm more concerned with being able to tap on their towns rather than them visiting me (unless I need someone to graffiti in order to boost my righteousness level. This drops occasionally and I haven't a clue how it works)
Put training walls until your star is back, you can hide them behind big buildings and will never see your star drop again.
***edited once because I'm stupid and second time because of auto-correct... third time did I say stupid... - I keep forumregulars and want only forumregulars so if there is a inactive friend i replace him for a regular :P
- I usually wait 1 lvl before I give them the boot. Since today is lvl 41, anyone that is INACTIVE lvl 39 gets dumped.
- You are over thinking it. I have no issue dumping non players or people who aren't overly active. I clear house mostly during events as I'm looking for like minded people who play and help out. I don't give a second thought to dumping people.

likewise.. we add people to boost our FP points and get things in events faster having nothing to tap makes the neighbour useless
they are very easily replaced.- I really only do this if I need space for another friend and someone has clearly not been playing a long time or they neglect their tone for long periods, no design or something just clutter but Loy's of these friends been around a long time try to keep a few open also
- I wait 2 to 3 weeks before deciding if I want to delete a friend. If the person has a great town, I might wait an extra week or so, otherwise I move on.
- I usually go AT LEAST a week of inactivity before I fully commit to an Unfriending.. At the moment though, I have 5-10 friends that are inactive but I'm not going to unfriend because I'm sure they are probably still locked out of their towns with this glitch that is still lingering,.. Like many other people have said! Heheh!
