I've updated and the splash screen appears. No dialog starts and the game will crash if I select the move or storage icon on a building or decoration.I've restarted my device and done two complete unstalls and reinstalls. Nothing works. :(

Me too! Even tried downloading it on an older device running an older iOS! So bummed when reports of this don't seemthat widespread and everyone else is happily tapping away.... sigh.

I really don't want to try a third install just to waste data and have it not work

Same issue here. I've downloaded it 4 times to two different devices running two different versions of iOS and in all 4 instances I get the splash screen as a tease but no new content.

....meanwhile all these happy posts for the new update and us unlucky few are stuck

I put my railyard on hold for this event, so I've been doubly screwed. I could have finished it tonight. So both projects lose a day. (Assuming they can get this update to even install tomorrow!!)

Exactly. I've basically lost a day because Ill held off on everything so the event was ready to begin. This night has been a wash because the app did update but the update won't run. This is a joke and really turning me off.

I finished my railyard. Android updates are always later so I figured I could start the railyard and see how far I get before the event started... turns out-- all the way.
