Jasper is my preference. 3 outdoor tasks that I can think of plus 1 more with his stonecutter skin.
What is Jasper's outdoor task with is stonecuter skin ?
He whips Homer
He paddles Homer
A whippin is a paddlin so same thing.
No, those are very different things.
Not where I come from.

Like I said, where I come from in the South, if you get in trouble as a kid and youre gonna get a whippin aka a spanking, a paddle is used. We dont say someone is gonna get paddled, we say someone is gonna get a whippin. Just like we call a buggy what others call a shopping cart.panopticnic wrote:

History disagrees with you.
As a side note, just because the majority of people do it doesn't make it correct.
Is it just semantics? Or much more than that?
I can see the very literal difference in using a whip versus using a paddle, especially with your nice visual chart addition. But in regards to the verbage, I have to agree, that in certain areas of the United States, noboby ever uses the phrase, "That's a paddling" or "You'll get paddled" or anything like that. My dad would always tell me he would spank me, or whip me, even though he always used his hands or a tree branch, never a whip or a paddle. After I got older he would just give me the two finger poke to the chest. But a paddle was only something we used in the canoe or boat.
I'd like to see the taks that has Jasper giving Homer "a paddling". I think that would be a nice outdoor task.- In regards to spending your 300 donuts or more, I would highly recommend you purchase any of the limited time items from Stonecutter's event now that you can afford to do so. The Frink skin at 12 donuts is a no-brainer, even if you don't have Frink at the moment, and wont be able to afford him for a while. The stonecutter's skins pay out even higher than the premium characters normally do.
If you are going to buy some of the classic characters, Otto is a good choice. But in terms of just plain bang for your buck, SVT is a great buy, and has multiple outdoor tasks. The Channel 6 News mobile is the best buy donut wise for a decoration because it has a high multiplier, and create new tasks for Channel 6 that payout at a very nice premium rate. Plus, those tasks never spoil or go bad for not harvesting them soon enough, like Cletus' farm items do. Bumblebee Man creates a nice 24 hour task for the TV station, but he only has 1 outdoor task, I think, so I don't really rank him that highly. Especially since you said you place an emphasis on outdoor tasks.
In regards to characters with outdoor tasks, Duff Man has the most outdoor tasks, but many of the tasks are the same basic task, but at different locations throughout town. Do you have the Springfield Stadium from Whacking Day? If so, Duffman's 2 hour task at the stadium is awesome and worth the buy!! I know Duffman is expensive compared to most of the other characters, but I don't have any regrets spending the donuts on him and the brewery. I think he is a must have, although, I would buy some of the less expensive characters first, like Otto, SVT, or some one you may like better. I also bought Disco Stu and Crazy Cat Lady already because I lke them from the show. But I still do not own Hans Moleman, Lard Lard Donuts, or some of the other original items because I don't like them or think they are worth their cost. You can look at each character's outdoor tasks in the FAQ section of the forum. Most of these decisions are highly subjective, especially if you are newly premium and have so many items to choose from. There are so many good ones, it is impossible to choose just one. bradyc79 wrote:

SVT can be gotten from the Mystery Box if patient enough(Got it on my first one).
Also you cant but Frink's Stonecutter outfit if ya dont have Frink first so would need the lab before you can buy the outfit
