On the flip side of that coin, if I find that one of my neighbors is going for long periods without visiting my town, I'll drop them without feeling much guilt.
But after the 28th, you won't have any idea of whether a particular friend has visited or not. I wish they'd insitute some permanent way of keeping trackshaygitz wrote:

Agreed. They used to employ iOS' notification system, but that never really worked very well.shaygitz wrote:

I've been keeping a list. Odds are that the people who couldn't be bothered to visit to get/give hearts will also not visit when there is nothing in it for them.
I've deleted most of them but I did send PM's to make sure they weren't locked out or something first. The ones I haven't deleted? I just won't be all that motivated to visit once the hearts thing is over if they haven't been visiting me.KrustyBrand wrote:

What's your opinions on visiting friends. Is it worth it now that you only always get $15 a tap? Is it worth an hour of your time? In my opinion it's not unless I'm in need of hearts which is not often because I get so many in my own town.
Folks are, of course, free to play this game however they chose. Personally, if I'm going to accept someone as a neighbor, I feel an obligation to try and visit them once a day (or at least once every other day). On the flip side of that coin, if I find that one of my neighbors is going for long periods without visiting my town, I'll drop them without feeling much guilt.
I agree on both accounts. Even when there's no event, vandalizing your neighbors, and them vandalizing you, helps to keep your numbers up. Granted, it can be tough to find good neighbors. Like KB, since you can only have a set number of neighbors, I'll drop friends if they don't visit in a while.- Well why have friends if you can't be bothered to visit lol. I try and visit at least very day but sometimes every other day if I'm strapped with time. Stagger it out throughout the day, that's what I do.
- For newer players, the extra money and XP are a huge help. For veterans, it's probably not worth the time, but I still feel obligated to visit at least every other day. Besides, I like visiting towns to see what they've done.
- rs, sad little rs.
- In part, visiting friends is worth it just to be able to see what others are doing in their towns. A few folks have really opened up my mind on how to redesign my Springfield. While I'm there stealing ideas, the least I could do is to help out tapping their tappables. I always try to tap the buildings that take the longest to regenerate first (ay, 24-hour vuildings like the Pimento Grove).
