Volcano lair or duff brewery?

Volcano Lair.

1. Hank Scorpio has better questlines. Duffman quest seems redundant IMO.

2. Volcano Lair has its own animation with quest. Brewery has smoke coming out like the cooling towers ~woopie :-(

I would say Hank as well.

Duffman is cool but the Volcano is awesome and Hank's 8 hour task is cool.

Duffmans tasks are mainly dancing outside buildings.

Duffman has a voice though. Does this make him any better?

Must go with the duff man his 6 hour task is my favorite. Springfield needs the duff!!!! Duff man is here to refill your beer, classic!

If there's one you're leaning towards a little more.. Go with that, with that said

I would go for Volcano Lair first. The outdoor tasks amuse me

I do like The Duff Brewery building but I try to keep Duff man on the 24hr tasks right outside.

There is a train that runs around on top of the brewery by the sign.

I got the brewery & Duffman early on, and have never regretted it because so many of Duffman's tasks are outdoors (love to see him riding the jet pack at the stadium, but you have to have the stadium) and the building looks pretty cool. The animation of the little mechanical man who comes out and drinks a Duff while the building's active is funny, too. I'd hoped it would open the door to getting other Duff stuff, like the Barney blimp and party bus, but I guess those were past limited time items.

I put off buying the Volcano Lair because it was so pricey, but finally went for it with Gil's discount donuts (the Christmas skin for it is what pushed me off the fence, I think) and now I wish I'd gotten it sooner. The Lair animation is great, and Scorpio has multiple outdoor tasks. It is a big 'building', but so is the brewery. I think it works fine right along the mountains at the edge of town.

Looking back, I'd put them about equal as far as adding fun and interest to my town. But I still probably would've gone for Duffman/brewery first just because he seems like a more 'must have' character to me. As someone else already said above, you should probably just go with whichever one you personally like better. :D

Duff Brewery is actually in SF, the Lair isn't.

my goal is to rebuild SF like the opening credits in the show, which is why i used a gift card for Gil's Halloween deal to get the brewery and SF Mtn.

if your goal is authentic SF, i'd recommend that. otherwise, everyone else confirmed the Lair has cooler animations and missions.

(duffman missions are boring, but his quotes ARE fun. But i do wish he said my favorite line by him: "Duffman can never die, only the actors who play him." OH YEAH!!)
