What changed with the Updates through Terwilligers Event? (Update: May 21st)

This is a subtle cosmetic change that doesn't affect anything, but the icon for the build menu changed from a hammer and saw to a hammer and knife.

myPad is the quest at lvl 5 for homer to play with his myPad. till you do that quest you can't do this job

I may be wrong, but it seems like this wasn't the case before..... My short hedges have no/minimal side shading while my long hedges have heavy shading, like during the Super Hero event.. Looks awkward.

I think I missed something somewhere, but couldn't find it with search. I used to store the Control Building to free Mr. Burns, but now it doesn't store him. I tried all three parts of the power plant and his mansion. Did this change with this update or a previous one? Is there a new way to free him from a task?
