I have activated my festive plunger that turns on all of my Christmas lights, and all of my houses in my main neighborhood are decorated (except for Rev. Lovejoy's house).I have an area dedicated to a holiday items and I still need to place my holiday lamp posts. I've also placed a few items that prefer the snow (like the ski lift) and I have my Shinning Hotel and maze ready and craving the snow.What have you done to prepare your town for the incoming snow?

I am holding off on the plunger, I have a few houses lit. And I will hold my snow based NPCs until the snow hits.

No Christmas lights for houses, which might make finding Maggie more difficult. Woo hoo free donuts.

I've stocked up on some of the stuff that was being sold for in-game cash in the store. I already had the items, but wanted to make sure I had lots of extras in case they were needed :)

I have hit the plunger and cleared a couple of areas expecting new buildings, hoping we get the hinted at Mall. I hope too that we get at least one more strip of land. If not, I think I have enough space for whatever comes. I have a very cramped Christmas/winter area and have earmarked buildings next to it to move to the new strip if we get one. Then I can add any new Christmas type stuff to the Christmas area and start redesigning it. I am ready to go.

I've done the same. Lights are on, Stocked up on a few returning items - I love the trees- and have a clear space ready. Difficult to estimate a precise layout (obviously!) but at least I have a space and it's an extension to the last festive area. Thank you EA - I've never been so organised!

Lights are on already. Stocked on extra decorations. Think 300+ ice walls are enough? Might get more. I miscounted and ended up with 301 so...

My xmas area got downsized and moved due to a massive halloween expansion - will wait till the event and hopefully more land to figure that out.

Only thing I'd wish I'd thought of was to let daily tasks pile up. Wanted to see if you dismiss during an event if they'd change to event currency ones.

Oh and getting lots of KEM farming in before the event. Prefer bloodmobiles during event.

expanded Xmas area today, plunger has been activated since Thanksgiving. building up in game cash and donuts for the last week. let it snow, let it snow, let it snow :D

I've been able to use this quiet time to open up my Xmas area in my amusement park. Plus a few areas outside of it. And of course if there's new land, well that'll just eff everything up. :)
