I thought of another bad-movie-theater-story.
When I was about 16, the guy I was crushing on asked me out on a date. He drove all the way up into mountains to pick me up, and we went into the valley for coffee and a movie.
Sparks were flying madly between the two of us, and the butterflies in my stomach were relentless.
We might have become a serious item, if it wasn't for what happened next.
Upon entering the theater, we realized that the film wasn't what we had thought it was. Instead of an artsy animated film festival, it turned out to be an animated porn fest. Both embarrassed, and wanting to act adult-like in the situation, we decided "Oh yeah, no big deal, let's watch it anyway."
Big. Mistake.
It opened with giant, flying vaginas, and just got worse from there. My face was blazing red throughout the entire mortifying experience, and his must have been so too, as it was a very, very, long, quiet drive home. We tried to laugh it off, but I ended up avoiding him for months. Such a shame, lol.
