When issue 2 begins do carbon rods go?

I've had the same question as I dont see how its possible to get 18500 rods by the 24th. I not even half way there and I started it a couple of hours late (thanks to an unfavourable time zone).

Others have posted in other threads that we will need to Krusty skin for the second issue, but who knows....(would be good if true and hopefully can catch up)

What we need are more characters being able to earn rods instead of just the 2

If you tap the Felon in the upper right corner, and then the "?" it says "Earn bonus currency for each Felon you defeat" and there is a picture showing the rod, a gun and a pie. So maybe it will be a mix, and you will get different things from different currency?

My guess is that you'll need to finish issue 1 before moving on to issue 2. So you'll only get CRs even after phase 2 opens up until issue 1 is completed.

I've read this too. Probably to not repeat the same problems with past events where phase ended before players were ready. .

You'll get there! I started a couple hours late too and I expect to get Clown Face today. Tap like a mad fool this weekend and you'll be surprised at how fast you'll catch up!

One thing to note: the sooner you clear your signals over your buildings the more rods you'll earn. If you leave them all day as some people are forced to do (those annoying jobs and such!), you'll only get one rod, but if you tap within the first four hours of their appearance, you get four rods. That really makes a difference!
