When will it snow?

I just came to the forums to ask this very same question!

I'm going to Denver for t-day weekend, i wonder if there's a high chance of real snow!

Probably. It often snows around Thanksgiving.

But then, it could also be 70 degrees. It's not the most predictable place. Snow actually came pretty late this year; we usually have a white Halloween, but it was really nice out this time. And it's supposed to warm up in a couple days, and then who the hell knows what will happen. I always keep a coat, thick socks, a tee shirt, sandals, and an umbrella in my car, especially in spring and autumn. (Last week I had to run the air conditioning and heater within a couple hours of each other.)

But hopefully, you'll enjoy the mile high city :)

Mini thanksgiving then one more tie in and I say it will start dec 1 this year

There are only three episodes before the Christmas events hits, of them the episode next Sunday might be too soon for a tie-in. This leaves the next two episodes. The episode on the 23rd featuring Sideshow Mel's family and Homer forming a band sounds like the more promising of the two, but the one on the 7th might make a nice set up for the Christmas event since it's a Christmas episode and they did one around this time the last two years...

I agree, Christmas update could hit the 3rd or 4th december, as there will be a thanksgiving mini event surely. That's on the 27th so should be released the week before???

I'd like to know when it's expected to get the winter season update which drops the snow.

I want to remove all of my ROAD tiles the night before.

That way when i first open the game after downloading the update, it will look like the snow plows haven't come through yet!

THEN I'm going to use Plow King's plow to slowly clear the roads. Main streets first, then the side roads.

Im hoping to screen cap it all. But i may not since uploading pics is a common PITA for me. Would be fun to make a motion gif of clearing the town though.

Great idea  To see this unfold day by day over your town would be really good :)

Thanks. I was kinda joking - I saw a picture before I bought it. Still can't wait to see what it will look like in my town itself, though.

You and me both...I can't wait to see it in its full glory.

Definitely freezing this week...... Thanksgiving? Who knows?! its one of the joys of living here- bipolar weather.........if there's no snow in Denver- you won't have to go far to find it, that's for sure! And it will look gorgeous out your window towards the mountains......
  • Well, we haven't got snow here yet, but any time soon.. hopefully we get in TSTO soon too
