- someonewashereRising NoviceAgreed no crafting system.
However, you need a separate map.
But...
you need a separate map.
I could....
you need a separate map.
Bender is great.
you need a separate map.
In the Long term band aid solutions are just short term solutions.

Its basically a very expensive glue.
Problem: People need a higher deco limit and more land to display said decos.
The problem has been dealt with more land, but not a higher deco limit, in theory the solution could involve increasing the deco limit and adding more land.
However we've reached a point where that could cause a heckaofalot of lag, you have the monorail, those new casino items with all the shiny new animations, 100+ characters, tons (exaggerating but still) of NPCs, yet these numbers will constantly increase, with each new update or event new characters, buildings etc can be and will be introduced.
Long term solution: Separate map, allow it to share the same inventory as Springfield, with limited restriction, for example you cant put flanders house in the badlands, you dig?
I know thats not what people want to hear but it is the best solution you have that prevents psychotic amounts of lag.
Otherwise force everyone to get the latest device from the year 3000 and then yes, add all the land you want, increase the deco limit, chances are that phone will take it, however the battery will run out quick. - maybe, JUST maybe, well get 1-2 new strips of water, and the badlands will settle down at the other side of the ocean. just hoping for a higher item limit here xD i wouldnt mind another map either, but i feel itll get neglected like KL. they could prevent it with a minigame where you can win donuts at a high(er) rate (than sideshow you)
i could also imagine theyll throw a curveball at us and just give us a new dirt ground and call it a day, mybe with some new land in SH and a new currency. and while theyre at that, they could also release the other pavement options ;)
conclusion: i dont care how theyll do it, i just want it yesterday - Voted another map, as I was basically going to rehash what someonewashere already said.
Unless they can increase the deco limit, I would say Springfield/Springfield Heights is a no.
Now if they expanded Krustyland to include the Badlands, that is always an option there. It would be weird to spend tickets on non-Krustyland items, so I would HAVE to assume a new currency is in order.
I don't really like the idea of a third map to maintain, but in order to use the actual size - I would prefer it over placing an additional limit on Springfield. - Perhaps we'll get a deck limit raise. That COULD be part of why we've got no level updates in so long; they're working on a way to raise the limit.
Cos, otherwise, there's A LOT of land above AT that's never gonna get used. - Badlands would look good further inland. Maybe on the far right side of the map?
- Think if it's going to be of any reasonable size then it needs to be on a separate map as we have enough complaints about the decoration limit already and raising the limit could cause issues for older devices trying to play the game, but if it is decided to create the new area then we need to be able to share fully all stuff from Springfield with the new area, this all assumes that we do get a badlands expansion and not just a few more desert type of decorations and dirt/sand flooring.
- wadebearRetired HeroI say move Krustyland to the remaining Springfield Heights area, convert the Krustyland space to the Badlands and let us put whatever we want there.
- I think they should put it with Krustyland an actually start adding things to Krustyland again.
- I don't care about a new "map" - if they give us dirt & mountain features, I'll be able to make my own badlands corner wherever I prefer on the outskirts of my town.
Would prefer that to another KL or SF Heights. - I'd be very happy if the desert came to SF and we got new ground cover but no new land. But if we get a full blown badlands expansion, it has to be a new map like KL. And let's face it folks, either way grinding for new currencies and crafting are going to come with.
