- First World Problems, geezus. They've given you something new to do in the game. If you don't like, you don't have to do it. The game is still the same basic game, except now there is a Springfield Heights section. If you don't want to participate in Springfield Heights, ignore it like Krustyland.
- I think the update is pretty much awesome. I have no problem with anything besides the donut bug that eats my donuts. If they fix that then I have only positive things to say about it.
- Which buildings aren't from the show? I remember the furniture store, but this one is a lot more fancy. Also Springfield Heights Institute of Technology (because of its unfortunate acronym).
- First, due to a busy day, I must admit that I didn't read all the replies. But I still wanted to reply with my opinion and will read the entire thing tonight when I have more time. :)
* The tunnel required a redesign of our Springfields to accommodate it.
Surprisingly, I didn't have to worry about this. I do want to redesign to make it NICER, though. :)
* The jobs in Springfield Heights are very short, and require you to play for extended time at once in order to accumulate enough chairs, coffee, or other currency to progress in the game. I would rather send characters on 60 minute or 12 hour jobs to accumulate currency than sit tapping on the same store over and over again every 30 seconds for 10 minutes. This is tedious and boring.
A complaint of mine, as well, but not a big one. This can literally make you sit at the game for hours on end, which is frustrating....and something I will likely do a bit later on.
*The buildings in Springfield Heights are mostly obscure in the tv show. Shop (Ikea) is a nice addition, but the generic coffee shop and others are hardly memorable from episodes. And am I wrong, or do the condos never actually appear in the cartoon?
Not a big deal to me. Not everything has to be show related, or popular in the show, in my opinion. I like the variety and new things in most cases. This update alone not only gives us a ton of new land, but a whole new area to move fancy stuff into that gives us yet MORE space. I think it's awesome overall. :) Just time consuming.
*This update feels like SIMs or Farmville, or some other nonsense.
Can't comment much, because I don't play any of those. As far as I know, TSTO is much like Farmville anyway. Feel free to prove me wrong, I didn't like Farmville that much and didn't play it long at all.
*ANOTHER update with crafting? We /JUST/ finished Tapball. Like many users, I wanted a break to return to the normal, main game.
As long as it's not random drops to craft with, like another toon based show game gives us, I'm ok with it. I would have liked some time to just simply earn more money first, and a break would have been nice.
*The "feel" of this expansion is completely different than the regular game. I don't enjoy the game as much now. I am considering taking a break.
So you want only more of the same, and not something new and different? Then well, I guess that best suggestion is to ignore Springfield Heights and just play the regular game. No one's forcing you to do the new area, and I don't mean this with any disdain. Just a friendly suggestion. :) - Jedihntr10 years agoNew SpectatorThe expansion is interesting. I'm making fast progress and think the new buildings and decorations are pretty cool. The only thing I really want to add to this conversation is I wish EA added a feature in which you could move sections of items. It would be nice to move certain plots, such as Wolfcastle's and Burns', into SH without having to break it down and rebuilt it item by item. Did EA not consider many, if not most, of us would want to do something like that? It's also a shame we couldn't choose the placement of the tunnel. Whatever lives along my mountains is there by design, so this is going to take some serious redevelopment.

I am a little disappointed the max item limit did not increase and SF Heights counts against that number.

No other concerns thus far. Having fun and enjoying this new twist in our silly little game.
I'm not usually one to complain, they do give us a lot for free!.... However! I too am disappointed that, with all this new land and contend, the Max Item Number did no increase, or be separate from SF. I'm already waaaaay over!
Other than that I think it's great fun! brmdem wrote:
This update completely turned me off the game, I have no desire to play anymore. The thing looks completely off with the mountains there and now I have to re-do so many areas of my springfield and I don't even feel like doing that.
May I ask why you NEED to do a lot of areas of your Springfield? Maybe open up the tunnel entrance, that is about it. Any other redesign would be purely optional. And until you have quite a bit of the land, you probably aren't going to be moving much over there yet. My SH is currently pretty much filled with buildings from the zone, and upgrading the mansion takes quite a bit of space.Jedihntr wrote:

Such a good call. Being able to grab an entire area and move it would be amazing. I really like my SF beach front mansions. Moving them to SFH is daunting- This expansion has breathed some much-needed new life into the game for me. I created a B town during Super Heros be cause I was bored, and with this great expansion I may just nuke/abandon my B town.
I didn't way to nuke my town for a redesign because I didn't want to lose the many extra SP tiles I had. With the increase in SP tiles, I'll probably do a much needed nuke and redesign after I get a handle on SH.
I will say this about the expansion: The Springfield Heights expansion epitomizes "Life-Ruiningly Fun". What with the 30 second, 2, 5, 8, and 12 minute tasks, I've needed to play nonstop just to get a foothold. My poor Air Pad 2's battery used to last me an entire day, and now it's constantly plugged in to life support to keep the battery charged! Oh well... If this is the worst thing that happens to me today, I'm in good shape!
HEY EA! Nice work! Thanks for a great expansion. I'll give you three stars now, and will bump it to five after all the bugs/glitches are fixed :) - blackgryphon999910 years agoSeasoned Novice

Here's another vote for a "lasso" kind of selection tool so we can move groups of items at one time. I'm putting off moving the Burns estate and Fat Tony's estate because there are so many pieces involved. I'll wait until I'm really, really bored. Meanwhile, I'm really enjoying the expansion. There's a lot to do and it's going pretty fast. I've moved four or five of the smaller mansions up there to help create one of those "McMansion" gated communities where huge houses are built on little plots of land.
