I check in occasionally. Haven't had a neighbour visit in months
I might have to visit there now just so you get some handshakes there - I only go there once a day for the sideshow you and to clear handshakes. They could still add content like Mt Splashmore and Duff Gardens though.
- I remember when it first came out I was excited
Now it's krappyland kenalbon89 wrote:
I don't think they forgot. I think they paid as much attention to it as 90% of the forum posts have indicated they need to ;) little to none whatsoever!
so why give us so much land with nothing to put on it?- I'm sure Krustyland seemed like a great idea when they launched it, but I don't blame them for failing to do anything with it now since it seems to serve no purpose. Yes, you can collect tons of tickets to convert to cash to use in SF, but it takes too many tickets for too little cash, so it isn't worth all that tapping. I'm now sitting on about 60,000 KL tickets even though I rarely go there anymore. I don't convert the tickets to cash since, who knows, EA may eventually come out with some incredibly expensive new ride for it. But other than that, I don't care about it.
This should be a warning to EA about any ideas for another off-screen place, like maybe Shelbyville. Don't do it if it's just going to be some tangent that'll eventually go nowhere and will be abandoned by the majority of players. - I don't think they should or will ever update it. I would much rather have updates in the normal SF
- May be the Mono-Rail will be an update for Krustyland..?
- I've said before, I'll say it again. I think a Krustyland 2.0 launch will come in the next month, will double the characters allowed in - will add many more attractions, decorations, etc.
Halloween we got a ride
Valentine's Day we got a ride - plus all of the decor, and 1 character
We got the level update that added 8 decorations.
Sure it hasn't been has constant as Springfield, but then again this area of the game is locked to beginners.
While I don't visit it daily, nor really task anyone there - I still designed it and waiting for more content. It'll come when it comes. I don't think they'd add this expansion to the game and just let it die. While we never saw Squidport 2.0, we did see decorations and stuff added to it over the course of the year it was out. However, that is a part of Springfield and easier for them to update it. - I must be in the minority - I visit Krustyland just as often as I visit my town... Of course its primarily for the Sideshow You game, but I still go through and collect tickets and such... I just the other day bought all the available land and have 100k tickets still leftover. Bummer its been forgotten about..
But the idea that they might add new content is what has kept me from rebuilding Krustyland to take up all the space - I'll just build it out as things come out - so for now im surrounded by a lot of green!! - If EA does offer the Monorail, I truly hope they don't waste it by putting it in Krustyland. I almost never go to Krustyland, and I wouldn't start going there regularly again just because a Monorail has been added. It'd just be one more thing to be tucked away and never seen.
