- Rhinomix76Seasoned NewcomerFor me it's because I love the show and have since the watching the very first episode the night it aired. The game doesn't hold my interest the way it did when I started playing it, but I still enjoy tapping, clearing and resetting as it's kind of like a virtual stress reliever for me.
- bluntcardRising RookieBecause it's meditative for me. A chance to escape into something for a while that's fun and creative and free of the pressures of reality. Something that isn't toxic like the news and social media.
- My better half and I tend to compete - especially when a new event starts. She's more into the aesthetics of the game while I'm more focused on expansion and building small vignettes. We're both maxed out money and level-wise so that's no longer an issue and donuts are hardly ever a consideration which tends to reduce our original zeal for TSTO. That stated, the game still has a degree of fascination that keeps us tapping - even after years of building and rebuilding our towns. My one complaint is that Springfield Heights has ample room for expansion but no option to do so.

It would be great if they unlocked the land in Springfield Heights but suspect that it has gone the way of Krustyland, another idea that is to be forgotten about.- barryriddl474Seasoned NewcomerI always loved the show and when I found this game back in 2013, I was hooked. Plus, having the ability to custom design your own Springfield is awesome. It's the only mobile game I play at all but I play it daily.
- Castiel_ToukSeasoned NewcomerI play just because I've always loved The Simpsons and designing your own town is the best thing ever. :)
- 4junk3000New SpectatorAt this point i play because i want to rebuild my town. I had a nice one once and wrecked it. I'd like to correct that. Town building is still somewhat enjoyable -- when the game isn't crashing every ten minutes.
I don't have any other reason to play. The events and dialog are no longer entertaining; they're both redundant. It's really just an addiction based habit to log in almost daily.
Thanks for asking! - If I wasn't shouting at Bart my Mrs might start to get worried . . .
- For me I remember I started playing this game with my cousin. He dropped off and I got my brother to play for a little bit. He played the stonecutters event and I didn't because I was in a religious bout. He said he liked it and I wish I got to play it when I hear about it. But I eventually started doing a little grind and got maude for next to nothing with the fortune teller building. But after some time I needed support and my game was not connected to origin. So my game progress was lost and I got a template town. But I was upset and said nah.
I eventually decided I wanted to play again. I eventually got redirected to the forum by support. And ever since I've been enjoying learning the grind tactics and enjoying the game with other people. I really enjoyed the pagan winter. Between it and time traveling toaster it gave me a great desert ba'al worship area. This game for me has brought a realization as to why I love the show even more.
And now for me, my why is because I love the Simpsons. It's been a childhood thing and it's been a adult thing. Together the show and the game is a great companion to awesomeness. I think the show will continue on until the voices are no longer there. I love building a town. Makes you think when you were a child and you'd draw your finger through a picture of a town. Well... we get to build our very own town. And for that I love it... and The Simpsons. - DigitalBagginsNew NoviceI have absolutely no idea.
