Why is EA so controlling? So frustrating and boring!

It's very doable to get the last prize just logging in a few times a day tapping and tapping bears. I'm about 15% of the way to my 2nd bonus box, which I should get easily. I did buy Lucille, but she barely helps.

Really, the Easter event is the only one where it wasn't exactly feasible to finish as pure-freemium. That awful Easter event.

These last "events" have been more a "chore" than fun playing. Many towns have gone dark. Not surprisingly.

I'm questioning myself: if it isn't fun, why bother? :(

Try Family Guy TQFS - that is absolutely, unquestionably set up to force the purchasing of clams if you want to achieve any sort of success with events.
I'd disagree you have to spend real money with TSTO - if you put the time in you can complete events without donuts.

I play free mostly and wisely spend my donuts - the only non complete - Easter - dreadful

Act 3 is on good pace... I login twice a day, and more during weekend... I'm able to complete Act 3 and collected the last prize (baby) yesterday, which was 3 days before end day.

No donut has been spent on Act 3. And I only visit 3 friends a day.

I like Act 3. :)
