Well, in our defense, recent studies have shown that spoilers actually increase our interest in things. We can wait, with bated breath, for that moment in the storyline that we acquire the much-requested and obsessed over item.

Also, as a long-term player of this game, I think the initial backlash stemmed from frustration. Treehouse of Horror is arguably the best time of year in TSTO, and there are a lot of characters I (and others) have been requesting for years that can really only be released during this time. So when the initial pictures came out and no new characters were seen, we were all, like, "Where's the House of Evil Shopkeeper? Where's Gravedigger Billy? Where's Dracula?"

That said, I have no problem with EA playing some of this event close to the vest. I get a sense that there's more coming, and I hope that my speculation will bear fruit.

I usually try to keep positive, but the event has been a letdown due to the lack of new charecters. Honestly not going to get my hopes up again for Phase 2 or 3. Maybe level 59 will be good.
