Why people get fed up with this game

Yeah it sucks but some people must have a better tolerance of being patient.

Calm your *, the update will come...

Christmas is the top grossing holiday every single years, so from EAs point of view it would be seen as commercial suicide not to release and update and get people to spend money on pixelated donuts. I would predict the update will come at around either 8pm GMT on Sunday (as this was when the subterfuge episode tie-in was hinted to end) or it will come out on Monday.

Yeah, it sucks that we have not seen an update yet, and even if we don't, it's a game. Those if us that ritualistically play, play because we like what the game is, and we like The Simpsons.. Events and updates are nice, but not crucial to the game. Would I be disappointed if there was no Christmas update? Not going to lie - I would be. But I'm sure EA is making the wait worth it. They usually do.

I would think its more likely that peopke get fed up with the relentlessness of assigning the same tasks over and over. Once you max out, buy everything and arrange everything there isnt much to keep people going. One thought I had that could help keep things interesting would be if the task times were swapped around every now and then for the standard tasks. I guess you couldnt really change any tasks linked to premium items, but if the rest were mixed up I think it would make it less tedious than seeing a character coming out of a buildingonly to always be sent back into it.

I don't think waiting an extra two days or so is any reason to quit the game :lol: But if you wish to do so, that's your prerogative.

For a bunch of people who have spent months tapping and waiting you sure can be impatient.

It'll be here when its ready, not before.
No amount of begging or creating threads asking where it is will make it come quicker.

Hang on a second let me check the App Store........... Damit!!! I thought for SURE this was going to be the thread that finally got us the update.

Attention mmmmh... I'll say "seeker" but thinking something else. If you want to quit the game, do so, no one cares.

Pleeeease, pleaase don't say 'the update might come at 8pm gmt' because then hundred of kids spam the forums with 'IT ISNT HERE WHYYYY' on Sunday.
