Why would I want stronger town defense?
I stopped upgrading my castles for this reason. However, learning that you get wall pieces when upgrading past 20 is tempting. I have no desire to pay donuts for Bart and Lisa's wall pieces.

stirred an interesting debate. Since the randoms seem to be on average rarely checking their towns it might be worthwhile now knowing you can unlock the walls.
