Will EA take a break on updates?

In my opinion if they would take longer break, they would lost lot of.players
So I don't think so
If update not gone hit us tomorrow (like last one)
It will be next.week 100%

Agree, it is not in EA interest to take a break.
The gaming market is very competitive, TSTO is a game that requires updates to keep interest in the players, as it has no 'repeat' element. Stop the updates, players will tire of the game and move on.

You just need to look at this forum about speculation of updates etc., its what drives us all to keep playing.
EA will keep the updates coming as long as the money rolls in!

What's with all the polls lately?

I can't see EA taking a break. They have so many players and make so much money from this game, I don't think they'd let their developers take any breaks with the fear of losing players and money in the process. Just my opinion. Like Epic says, "EA likes to milk their cash cow. :mrgreen:

Exactly, that's why this game is so successful. When I play the same game over and over with no update or changes to spark my interest. I stop playing. That's why you see apps and games be popular for a few months and then no one plays them anymore. Angry birds is so successful because of updates, more levels and different types of games. That's what people want: more, more, more.

I believe there will be minor updates with a couple new buildings and people here and there. The next major update after Squidport probably Halloween.
