winter 2014 event really that bad?

I think they've done a great job evening things out. The so-called shortage of elves means people can't finish very early and get donuts, but it means those of us who can't sign on every 4 hours can keep up the pace. The glitches and outages have definitely been a major hassle and it's hard to judge the event on its own as it would be without those. I love the quests, I liked the tunnels, it's not just all squishing, which gets a bit dull. You do need 40 active friends, but that's easy enough. I like Little Helper Ralph and Zutroy. I like the islands. I like the storyline of the whole event. I've only been here for three, but this is my favorite.
