Winter 2015: Naughty or Nice

What does "naughty" do? My first few times, I selected naughty or nice randomly, trying to see which was best for me and my neighbors. At first, I was thinking my selection had to match or unmatch someone else. Later, I was guessing that "nice" might somehow be more co-operative... even though I still don't know how.

Shouldn't someone post a chart at the start of this topic? And then suggest why always "nice" might be the best strategy?

Some landing zones looked bad to me so I tried dropping presents into an open field, but sometimes my aim missed and they hid behind something. Now I am dropping it wherever I begin in their town; if it is congested there, I hope they know how to use the translucency mode (land expansion mode, hide buildings) to find their presents.

try dropping them in the ocean, theyre pretty easy to spot there and there most likely arent any buildings ;)

When I figured out how it worked I always choose nice. And I try to aim at the front of the Simpson home when leaving my presents.

I'd actually prefer my friends be naughty. ALL of my presents go to my wife (for obvious reasons :D ) so I won't be reciprocating presents for this event. So if you're my neighbor, feel free to be naughty and I'll always be nice and I won't care.

I usually leave and open "nice", but I opened a gift today and clicked "nice" but they'd left it naughty. There was another gift right next to it, so assuming it was from the same person I thought "ha, I'll have you back" and I opened it naughty. It was from someone else and it was a nice present. Aaaaaargh, I'm so sorry to the person who left it. If they see this they'll know who they are. I hope they don't boot me off. I plan to leave them a load of "nice" presents tomorrow to say sorry. :oops:
