Winter ends on January 15th???
the left the winter snow play out longer last year but so many people complained that they cut it short this year. people got tired of it.

Look at it this way, just because it is winter in North America and Europe doesn't mean it is winter everywhere. Maybe people in Australia and South America didn't want the snow anymore. The game is played worldwide, bot just by us.
