Then, today, I received a PM from the person on the forum who said they'd give us donuts for our trouble. This person knew what had happened with the EA advisor and specialist (we did not go into details anywhere, so they must have had insider information), and gave us both ANOTHER 150 DONUTS EACH!!!!
Like my title states, WOW!

So...the moral of the story kids is that whenver someone asks for your personal login information, please give it to them. You will get hundreds of donuts if you do :)

Actually, just the user name, which you can see near my post, isn't all that personal. Just passing along a positive experience. ;)
