Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be that. I've been a few days without my account being able to connect, where as others in the household have had no problems. - It is the "New iPad" or iPad 3, whatever its called. And yes, iOS is completely up to date, as it the game itself.
- For what its worth, I'm able to access my account on other iPads - no problems at all. Just not mine.
- I'm having a very similar problem, since Sunday evening I have not been able to log into Tapped out.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, turning on/off my iPhone, installing and logging into my iPad.
I takes me to the 'logged in as' screen but whenever I click to play it just get 'Cannot connect to game' retry.

I've deleted and reinstalled app, I've reset my phone to factory resetting and still can't get in. I am getting the same issue, "unable to connect to server" i have tried everything but still unable to get into the game. Is anybody able to help please ? - I haven't been able to play the game for the past 2 weeks. I missed out on any promotional items You were able to get. It's not fair that they haven't resolved this problem sooner, and I might just give up on the game intirely...

- I can play now if i play without my origin logged in when i play unknown i can play when i log in i get error :s
