Cletus and Grampa stuck on loop!!!

Oh okay... I sent an e-mail to EA about it and they told me to post something here so the game technicians would see the problem. I'm glad they know about it, it's driving me crazy.

Thankfully for me Grandpa Abe has stopped his never ending war stories since the thanksgiving update.
5 days has gone and he is quiet for a change.
But Cletus has never stopped from whittling to going through the garbage to his wife giving birth another suckling.

Why is this a problem for people? I don't have Grandpa yet, but Cletus is stuck in a quest loop for me too, but that's just fine by me! Every time you complete a quest you get a little bonus XP and money.

Nothing wrong with that! I say keep the quest loops, I like 'em. In fact, I want them to add more.

Grandpa Simpson has always been a troll, that together with his shot term memory... yeah good joke on EA's behalf.At least that's how i see it. As far as Cletus goes he's never doing nothing really important in the show but popping kids out lol so his tasks seems pretty well orchestrated. The loops seem to have been purposely placed.

I'm still having a problem with both too.

My Cletus is also stuck in a quest loop. At least I get the quest rewards for it.

Glad that I'm not the only one who still has this problem. But I can tell you it definitely seems to be an unplanned issue as my husband also play and hasn't gotten a single quest for grandpa or Cletus and he's level 22, I'm at 21. Grandpa has been in the loop for almost 4 days now and while I usually do hour quests during the day when I can its getting really annoying, though I just finished Nelson's house without a problem.

I had Grandpa stuck in a loop for days, he was pretty useless so at least got task bonus's for him as well.

Today was my free surprise gift day and I got Squeeky Voiced teen! And as soon as that happened, the grandpa tasks went away.

Is it some sort of hidden quest to get you the teen or just coincidence?

Coincidence. And don't be surprised if Grandpa's tasks return. In my case (and as reported by other gamers as well), the constant requests to tell stories may cease for a short period of time, but they eventually return.
