EA dropped the ball again

The event was originally going to end on May 9. Today is May 16. I don't know about you, but in my world a week is 7 days.

^ I'm pretty sure he is saying he feels that whacking day should have gone on until 11:59 tonight.

I was hoping to get more snakes today too, and was a little shocked when I was forced to update "early". Oh well, hopefully the next update brings some excitement back. Right now I'm sadly a little bored by the normal game play.

Whacking Day sucked.
Before you whine about it ending 7 days too late
spare a thought for all those people who were busting
their hides last week only to have another week of torture.
Fortunately I only spent 5 donuts at the last minute to get
the final 500 snakes and Sleep Eazy before the extra week
was revealed. 500 snakes? Something I easily could've
accomplished in another day or two.

Wish they had given us a warning, I was in the middle of trading eggs when my game crashed, came back and it was telling me to update.

The first day of whacking day gave a clear warning when the event will finish which originally was 9th May, as this was extended to May 16th it gave people a chance to get that last prize before the event finished.
All though no warning was given until the 9th when they will extend a further week, it clearly stated on the 9th that it will end on the 16th, and no actual time was given when it would end on that day.
In my book there was ample warning for everone to see when this event would be complete.
