Issue adding friends

Not sure i understand the reply.

in my case, i have tapped out, and their town has been added to my list. i have visited their town. in their game, they were able to find me, but it says i dont have tapped out. also, the last logged in has changed from 1 month to 1 day now.

i have other friends who i know have iphones and there are no issues.

My gf is having what sounds like the exact same issues, only she's on iphone. I have android and can see her town, but on her phone all of her friends (including me), just appear in the crappy origin friends list as not having TSTO, which makes no sense at all. I can't really find a solution but for her she can't add any friends at all so it's really ruining the game. The closest thing I have found to an official solution is EA informing people having difficulty adding friends using the game on droid vs. ios via their origin id only (rather than their email), but she was doing that so that definitely isn't a solution. A few threads like these popping up...

This is exactly the same issue im having.

Well earlier on yesterday it finally fixed itself on my girlfriend's phone by the way. She got a friend request, accepted it and for the first time the requester's town appeared on her phone. She went out of the friend's section and back into it and all of her previous friend's towns popped in! So I reckon they must have fixed something :)

yep. fixed for us too.
