Why was Abraham Lincoln not counted as a Republican for the quest line to send Republicans to attend Fireworks Support Rally?

It won't let me finish Part 4. I got Rex to interrogate Flanders, but then it stopped.

did you send TEN people to buy fireworks? If you only sent less they make you send more

That's a good question. Probably because if Lincoln were to appear in 21st century America, one of the first things he'd do is change his party affiliation.
