Land Expansion? March 6th, 2014

No land was added this year, not sure what Ultimate is trying to say.

The original grid of the game is 13 by 13. In June of 2013, they added 3 columns (beach front, and 2 columns of 100% water).

Then with the Halloween update in Oct 2013, they added 1 row of land (2 parts water, 1 part beach front, rest all grass) to the bottomish area of the map.

These have been the only land updates available - only squidport ones were announced - and made a quest.

You never "throw away money" on land, there is a finite amount available. It is easiest to buy it up when the updates are slow.

I thought it was later last year or early this year. I couldn't remember which. Thanks for correcting my mistake. But yeah, the current grid is 14x16.
