I believe the chance of getting donuts will go up when you get each character, because if you open one and would've gotten one but have him already you get donuts instead.

I'm pretty sure the chance of getting 30 donuts does increase. I just spent 18 donuts on boxes and on the 2nd box I got 30 donuts a few minutes ago.
