The reason this gets stickied is because it is written without contempt, just written to help. Well maybe contempt and annoyance, but the language is not aggressive, it is helpful and warm and advising. Frankly I have seen this forum slip more and more into aggression at the slightest thing, not everyone, but some, yes.

I saw one thing awhile back about bullying (relating to Coolcat so whatever he was a true troll, * spelling the name right), but yes there do seem to be times of ganging up, or bad moods, but well, that is a forum.

My point, oh, yes, crap, too much IPA, um, nice to see people getting along and nice to see a post get stickied that is well written, thought out, helpful, not just hey you f.cuker do not do this it annoys us that are here all that time.

Also, just a word of warning, since it seems my original FAQ was auto-flagged as spam and was subsequently deleted because it contained too many links... Be sure you keep a back up of this thread! I would hate to see all your work go to waste when the forum-bots go crazy.

I don't see how to get 4 or 5 taps at one time mentioned.

Since your posts kept getting deleted, I was waiting to see what would happen before adjusting everything. Now that I've updated the links, it will probably get deleted again...fingers crossed.

Feel free to find and post the links for the best Character Suggestion/Threads. I'm not. Haven't I done enough already? Most of these links were from the first 10-20 pages of threads when I created this post, so I picked what I saw, and did a couple searches. This is where the "User-Compiled" part comes into play, it's not named "Simpsons00001 Compiled Index" even if that's pretty much what it is in the threads infancy.

I don't know if it eventually stops working, my guess would be no. I remember that it took me like 20-30 "taps" to get the payout; it can be hard to get the game to accept the "tap" in the appropriate task. It worked for me both times during his "myPad task", and others have said it works when he's not in a task. It sounds like you got him on your second city, so I'm really at a loss for any suggestions. I'd try a few more times, then maybe contact EA (however pointless that may be). Good luck!
