try going into your account with your pc download EA CLIENT sign in like you do normally for the simpsons. this
will show all your friends and requests. may just need to delete friend requests. can really screw up your game.

While deleting friends and/or friend requests has the effect of helping with a subset of the problems that plague this game, it's become apparent that it has no effect on the "chiming" problem.
