- add me on reo19uk552 play multiple times a day
- Thanks for that info about the boxes. I got 3 on my first and next one was 2 and I got that option. Good to know you only keep one of the boxes.
On that note does anyone know if they'll make an exchange with game moneys for donuts or will it stay with tasks and leveling up? Apologies if this throws off the topic. - Hi please add me

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered somewhere. I'm just not finding it.
When we see our characters floating like they have been possesed and we click on them we get GOO. What is triggering them to float? Or what is the pattern? Is there something we can do to make it happen more?
Thanks a Bunch
One of the ghosts possesses them. Meaning instead of the ghost flying around, they fly around the body of the character they possessed. So when you tap them, they return to normal, and you get a Goo since you killed the ghost inside of them.
For it to happen, a ghost has to cross paths with a character either not on task, or one that is on an outdoor task. If they meet perfectly, the ghost possesses the character. It depends since sometimes the ghost can fly past and ignore, so perhaps the ghost has to be stopped over a road and a character has to walk there at that point in time? Not sure how it happens, just it happens when it wants to.- I've just discovered that sometimes, killing a ghost will give you an extra ghost bomb.

I think we're using different definitions of the word "collect."
In every other aspect of the game, tapping on the thing (dollar sign on a house, or ticket on a building in KL, for instance) makes the "goods" (money, XP, KL tickets) pop out. It is not necessary to manually pick up (tap on) the "goods"; you can leave KL or your friend's town without tapping on the "goods" and you still get credit for them.
To experience how this is different (a bug, in my opinion), try this.
1. Note down your number of Krustyland tickets and your number of GOO.
2. Go to a friend's Krustyland. Tap on three tickets. The "goods" (tickets and XP) pop out. Don't pick them up.
3. Now use the Krustyland shuttle to go to your friend's Springfield. Tap on five ghosts. The "goods" (GOO and perhaps gremlins) pop out. Don't pick them up.
4. Exit your friend's town (either by going to another friend's town, or by going back to your town).
5. Note your new number of tickets and goo. You will notice that your KL tickets went up by 12 (four KL tickets for each of the three buildings you tapped on) but your GOO did not go up at all. You "lost" the GOO and gremlins that you tapped on while you were in your friend's town.
Until this bug is fixed, there are two solutions to this problem: either manually "pick up the goods" from each of the five ghosts you tap on in your friend's town; or to remain in your friend's town for a long enough time after your last click (probably 20 or 30 seconds, I haven't timed it) to allow the goods to get picked up automatically.
Again I don't know how people can do all 8 taps and have enough time to exit before any of it collects.
My neighbor's town loads. Immediately haunt 3 buildings (typically pick 1 of 8 directions and grab 3 buildings that are remotely close to each other). Then start tapping on 5 ghosts. I usually only have to tap the last 2-3 ghost's goo and all of it is collected immediately. I visited like 50 Springfields last night (after a night off) in like 45 minutes. So I'm not drawing out the length of time, I want to get it over with A.S.A.P. but I hardly get a chance to leave before everything collects. Usually only have to wait a second or two for all the haunts to auto-collect.GamerGD3 wrote:

The screen that pops up is only triggered by the buildings. If you grab ghosts & drop gremlins before haunting any buildings, you should be good to go.
In any case, if the screen pops up before you drop your gremlins, you can dismiss it & drop them anyway.maildopmpc942 wrote:
Yay thanks! I just got Snorky so i'm 3 days ahead!
Congratulations. Keep up the good work and you can also get some free donuts by the end of the event- @ GamerGD3:
What platform are you playing on?
On Android, I can tap on ghosts that aren't auto-collected, go back to my Springfield and I get credit for GOO that wasn't explicitly collected by me or the automatically.
As far as the black dialogue box, if you don't haunt the 3rd building, that box will never appear. In other words if you haunt 2 buildings and tap 5 ghosts, then that box won't appear. It is either triggered when you haunt the 3rd building and collect the GOO that was dropped from all 3 hauntings or the game auto collects it. Either way, after the box pops up you can still tap ghosts until you reach the standard max of 5. Before the update was patched, you could tap 4 ghosts and then quickly tap 3 or 4 ghosts in close proximity and get more than 5 ghosts in addition to the 3 hauntings.
My advice is to max out your friends and visit all 100 daily, drop gremlins and keep at it. I've accumulated close to 32000 GOO as we speak. - hi everybody,
