Career customization

There’s very little customization in this game, especially in Career Mode, and it becomes really noticeable during fights. Multiple times now, both me and my opponent have been wearing the same color (blue), even though there are still red and blue corners. This defeats the purpose of the corner system and makes fights look unrealistic and confusing. On top of that, created fighters all start to look the same due to the lack of options. There’s no real way to personalize your fighter’s appearance, and most customization choices don’t even carry over into actual fights. For a modern game like EA Sports UFC 5, this feels very limited—especially compared to older games like WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010, which had more freedom despite being much older. something you could do is Allow players to choose or override fight kit colors, Fix the issue where both fighters wear the same color, Add a basic color wheel or more gear variants, or Expand customization so created fighters feel unique. (There’s more times i was just able to get 2 pictures)

    Hey Weddfbbb,

Thanks for the post! Customization has been a huge point of feedback. Just to clarify if you haven't seen our earlier update, there will not be further content updates for UFC 5.

More than happy to continue passing this feedback along for anything yet to come, thanks!

  • You say, "If you've seen our earlier update, there will be no further content updates for UFC 5." Why are you using this excuse? The community has been reporting these missing features and main problems for years.

EA, please don’t pee in our pockets and call it chocolate.

"More than happy to continue passing this feedback along for anything yet to come. Thanks!" said EA_Mako. As if passing it to EA execs and devs would actually accomplish anything! 😂 That is such a cop-out. EA_Mako, please provide examples of where your "passing feedback on" responses have actually led to changes in UFC 5—excluding DLC requests. If these examples exist, I certainly haven't seen them.

Passing along feedback does not guarantee the developers will agree and make any particular change, but there's no reason for us not to pass it along.

Feedback does often result in gameplay fixes and changes. You're welcome to look back through the patch notes.

That’s a fair response, bro. I respect that you’re just doing your job, and you do it very well—in a calm, diplomatic, and fair way. Forum mods are the front line for EA suggestions and complaints; they have to deal directly with frustrated players who might be extremely salty about something that just happened.
