Since launch, EA SPORTS™ UFC 5 has been driven by the passion of the UFC community. From launch day through countless Fight Weeks, your energy, feedback, and commitment have helped shape the experience we’ve built together.
As we look ahead to 2026, UFC and EA SPORTS™ UFC remain focused on the future. Before we get there, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey UFC 5 has taken, celebrate what we’ve accomplished together, and share what comes next.
Celebrating an Incredible Live Service Run
Over the past two years, UFC 5 has delivered an extensive live service run made possible by the continued support of the community. Together, we rolled out:
- 31 content updates
- 30 Fight Week events
- 35 Punch Cards
- Over 145 Alter Egos
- Over 80 new rostered fighters
- 6 Legends
- 1 brand-new venue
This has been an incredible chapter for the team and the community, and one we are genuinely proud of.

Ongoing Support for UFC 5
As part of this journey, Patch 1.31 will be the final update to introduce new playable content, including fighters, Alter Egos, CAF items, and special event fight kits. While new playable content has concluded, UFC 5 will continue to be supported in key ways:
- Fight Week Challenges, Pick’ems, and Punch Cards with every UFC Numbered Event
- Fighter stats and records updated after each UFC Numbered Event
- Online services operating as normal
- Ongoing technical support and maintenance
Our goal remains simple: to ensure UFC 5 continues to be a great experience for everyone who steps into the Octagon.
What’s Next
2026 is shaping up to be a significant year in UFC, with exciting innovations ahead. We’re looking forward to sharing more about what the team has been working on.
